Class Policies
Vacations and Holidays – Vacations and Holidays – No classes are held on Halloween, Thanksgiving weekend, December Break, as well as during February and April school vacations.
Snow Cancellation – Living in New England poses its own set of challenges when it comes to the weather. There are times when we must cancel classes for the safety of our dance family. Therefore, we offer 2 makeup classes prior to February 1st. There are NO REFUNDS for missed classes. The SGDC will follow Billerica Public Schools closings. If there is no school, the studio will also be closed, due to weather. Any weather related cancellation will be emailed and posted on our social media page.
Visitors/Viewing Area – The first week of every month, our viewing windows are open to observe your dancers progress.
Absences – No refunds will be given due to missed lessons or lessons dropped during the current month. Make-up classes are available only if the office is notified prior to absence. In the event of prolonged illness or injury, please contact the office to make other arrangements.
Special Events and Updates – Special dance events are held throughout the year. Please feel free to come in anytime and discuss questions or concerns you may have. Your child’s progress is our priority!
Dress Code
The Sally Gould Dance Center enforces a strict dress code. Body placement and alignment are impossible to correct when hidden by Tee Shirts and baggy sweat clothes. Clothing with designs other than D’Style or SGDC will not be allowed and you will be asked to change. No exceptions!! Preferred dance wear stores:
