Testimonials from students of the Sally Gould Dance Center
Sally, you have taught each and every one of us that words only, never truly express a person. Instead, we reveal ourselves through emotions only released as we dance. Please accept these thoughts as we express our gratitude and congratulate you on 25 years of excellence.
“You have been an inspiration and role model for all the children who have walked through the doors of the dance center. Dancing with you has molded me into the role model that I hope to be for my students. Thank you for teaching me the art and love of dance.”

“My daughter LOVES to dance. She dances ALL the time. This wasn’t always the case. She had danced for two schools over a 9-year period and was ready to quit. Because she wasn’t a “natural born” dancer her teachers never gave her any opportunities to advance or challenge her. My daughter always took extra classes her teachers recommended with the promise that the next year she would advance. These promises always came up empty and my daughters self esteem rapidly deteriorated. After watching the dancers from Sally Gould Dance Center at a dance competition, my daughter decided to give dance one more try. It has been 2 years since we first walked into SGDC and my daughter has not looked back or regretted her decision once. Sally and Debbi Gould have an honest dance school. Hard work is expected of both the students as well as the teachers. Because of this, the respect I have for the staff of the SGDC is enormous. The rewards have been endless and I’m not just talking about trophies and recognition. Her new founded self-confidence and restored self-esteem have not only manifested itself in her dance but also academically. My daughter walks with her head held high instead of looking down to the ground as so many teenager girls often do. I credit all of this to Debbi and Sally, who renewed her faith in herself that hard word does pay. Oh, and by the way, my daughter has since competed against her former dance schools. Some say the trophies don’t matter, but let me tell you, it sure is sweet to shake her former teachers hand and accept congratulations on my daughters behalf.”

“Sally Gould Dance Center is absolutely the best dance school I have ever sent my daughter to. The knowledge of dance, the skill level and the manner in which dance is taught is like no other. Not only do their own students and parents admire them, but also at dance competitions, all those who get the opportunity to watch their performances praise them. Debbi and the girls leave with not only trophies and awards, but with respect and honor from the judges. As far as lessons go, the classes are designed not only to teach the students dance, but also to give each and every girl or boy a new sense of self-esteem. Sally, Debbi, and the staff are truly unique, professional and highly skilled in all areas of dance. The proof is in my daughters face when she leaves class exhausted and sweating and says, “I can’t wait to come back tomorrow!””

“I have 2 daughters that have been attending The Sally Gould Dance Center since they were toddlers. I continue to be amazed at the commitment of the staff and the level of professionalism that they continually display. The choreography continues to hit the mark over and over again and Debbi’s uniqueness and creativity not only inspire the dancers, but she has been the recipient of top awards year after year. SGDC has awarded both my girls the opportunity to expand their dance skills, grow emotionally as individuals and has instilled the important of teamwork and perseverance. Thank you SGDC for all you do!!”

“My daughters have been dancing at The Sally Gould Dance Center since they were 3 years old. They are now 14 and 16. They have both chosen dance as their sport and dance competitively for the studio. They consider the studio their second home and LOVE IT! Sally and Debbi Gould are committed to teaching the foundations of dance through technique, skill, and fun. I based my decision on a dance studio by the quality of instruction and not the waiting room. When I drop my girls off at SGDC I know that they are safe and supported by all who are around them. “
