Payment Policy
Our annual season is thirty-five weeks divided into ten equal monthly payments (September through June). Tuition is automatically billed on the 1st of every month. Monthly tuition remains the same whether it is a long (5 weeks) or short (3 weeks) month and regardless of absences. There are no tuition refunds for withdrawal from class during any given month. If the studio is notified, there are exceptions for prolonged illness or injury. Make-up classes are available.
Our Competitive Program is designed for students who love to dance, or wish to make dance a career. This gives dancers more opportunities to perform and compete as well as attending workshops, master classes and conventions throughout the year. This program develops the quality of dancers for which our studio has become known.
NOTE: Payments made after the 6th of each month will be charged a $25.00 late fee. Checks returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $30.00 service fee and declined credit cards will be charged a $35.00 service fee if not settled by the 6th of the current billed month. Tuition that is two months behind will result in termination of class. A re-registration fee of $50.00 would then apply.
Annual one time dancer (non-refundable) registration fee: $50.00 ($65.00 if you have multiple dancers).

Scholarships
There are multiple scholarships that may be applied for. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need. Contact the office for information, applications and deadlines.
Costumes
A non-refundable costume deposit of $50.00 PER costume will be due mid November. If you are only purchasing one costume, full payment is due on the date of purchase. Once show costumes have been ordered, you are responsible for any remaining balances even if the student withdraws from class prior to the performance. Costume companies are general in size and are not custom fit. You are responsible for minor alterations, i.e. hem, tucks, sewing straps. This is not an expense that SGDC pays. Costumes are given to students only after costume balance is paid in full.
